Andrew Djuplin

IT Infrastructure • Systems Administration • Enterprise Windows

I’m a systems administrator with experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure, service reliability, automation, monitoring, and cross-team technical operations. My work includes Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server administration, SQL-backed platforms, PowerShell scripting, technical documentation, and operational improvement.

About

My core professional background is in enterprise Windows infrastructure and systems administration, with additional hands-on Linux experience through personal systems, Raspberry Pi services, networking, and self-hosted tooling.

My work spans infrastructure support, technical troubleshooting, service continuity, monitoring, scripting, and documentation. I work best in environments where complex systems need to be maintained carefully, improved thoughtfully, and explained clearly.

I’m particularly comfortable bridging day-to-day operations with longer-term improvement work: stabilizing services, modernizing older systems, building repeatable support practices, and helping technical teams make complicated environments easier to manage.

Focus Areas

Enterprise Windows Infrastructure

Windows Server administration, RDS environments, platform maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and service continuity.

Automation and Monitoring

PowerShell scripting, health checks, dashboards, alerting, operational tooling, and repeatable support processes.

Documentation and Coordination

Runbooks, diagrams, internal documentation, issue tracking, and coordination across support teams and stakeholders.

Selected Work

A few examples of the kinds of systems and support work I’ve handled.

RDS Environment Rebuild and Modernization

Supported the rebuild and modernization of a multi-node Remote Desktop Services environment, including connection brokers, session hosts, storage dependencies, DNS/SPN coordination, and SQL-backed high availability components.

Research & Instruction

Much of my work has involved supporting research and instructional environments that do not fit neatly into standard enterprise models, balancing security and compliance requirements with the flexibility those spaces need to function.

Operational Monitoring and Health Checks

Developed and refined monitoring and health-check workflows using scripting and monitoring platforms to improve issue visibility, troubleshooting speed, and confidence in production services.

Documentation and Support Process Improvement

Created structured technical documentation, diagrams, and support notes to make complex systems easier to maintain, explain, and hand off across teams.
